The laboratory in the Electrical Engineering study program is also known as the instrumentation laboratory, which is an integrated sublaboratory at ITK. This laboratory has 3 main functions, namely as a teaching laboratory, supporting the learning process (practicum), as a research center for students, lecturers, research groups and as a center for community service. The instrumentation laboratory also supports facilities for 5 areas of interest in ITK electrical engineering. Among them;
1. Power system
Electric Power System Simulation is one that focuses on developing electrical power system simulation and analysis applications. Supporting facilities in this field include;
Power System Practicum
Community Service based on science and technology
ETAP, MATLAB, and ANSYS
2. System setting
Control and Automation is one of the areas of focus on control systems. facilities that support the control system as follows:
Basic Control System
Digital Control System and System Automation
Control Systems in Industry
Pneumatic & Hydraulic Control Systems
Basic Control System
Digital Control System
NI LabVIEW (Basic & Advanced)
Sensors, Actuators & Controllers
Pneumatics & Hydraulics
PID Controller: Design & Tuning
Digital Signal Processing and Its Applications
Image Processing for Control System and Robotics Applications
Introduction to Mobile Robot
Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) (Basic & Advanced)
3. Electronics
For undergraduate students, the laboratory serves electrical measurement practicum which is a basic practicum on how to use electrical measuring instruments. Supported facilities are as follows;
Electrical circuit practice
Basic electronics practicum
Students practical work
Students final assignment that corresponded with research topics in laboratory
Internship learning basic electronics
Basic Electronics Skills Training for public or industry
4. Telecommunications
The Telecommunication Network Laboratory equips students to study and explore, as well as provide services to the public in areas such as internet networks (LAN, WAN), wireless networks (radio, cellular, satellite, etc.), interfaces and protocols related to network-based services, security and management of network systems, integrated systems and network-based services for areas such as urban or rural areas, and policies and regulations on the telecommunications network industry with regional development through the smart city concept.
5. Computer system
Computer Engineering is a specialized discipline that combines Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. This technique studies the design, construction of computers and computer-based systems such as object-based software engineering, operating systems to digital image processing.
SERVICE FACILITIES
For ITK Electrical Engineering students who will conduct research or activities that require laboratory facilities, you can apply for a facility loan through the SIM Labter or consult with the Head of Instrumentation and Electronics (Mr. Riza Hadi Saputra, S.T., M.T. / riza.saputra@lecturer.itk.ac.id) at the Building B Campus ITK, Room B-110.
For external parties of ITK or those outside ITK who wish to cooperate in the implementation of the tridharma of higher education (Education, Research, and Service), consulting on industrial problems, the need for analysts / experts, or cooperation in other forms, especially electrical engineering, then please contact the Integrated Laboratory Coordinator (Mr. Adi Mahmud Jaya Marindra / labterpadu@itk.ac.id)
