This scholarship is intended for students who come from the area around PHM in 5 sub-districts, namely Samboja District, Muara Jawa District, Anggana District, Muara Badak District, and Sanga-Sanga District. This scholarship is given to provide access to quality higher education for communities around SKK Migas and PHM in order to support competence and increase skills during lectures. Recipients of this scholarship will be given UKT assistance which will be transferred directly to students. Students from these 5 sub-districts will be selected and confirmed to ITK by the scholarship giver. As of September 2020, 1 student received the Pertamina Hulu Mahakam Scholarship.
