The provincial government usually has a variety of scholarship programs for students who live in the province. One example is Kaltara Cerdas, which is given by the Provincial Government of North Kalimantan for all students domiciled in North Kalimantan (Kaltara). This scholarship can be participated by Kaltara students in 2 categories, namely Students from Outside the Province of Kaltara and Students for Completion of Final Projects. Recipients of this scholarship will receive financial assistance of Rp. 2,000,000 to use in 1 year.
